Premier Imaging is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our growing healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of medical conditions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused clinical environment dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including:
  • Obstetrical and Gynecological (OB/GYN) Ultrasound
  • Early Fetal Trimester Screening (EFTS)
  • Saline Infusion Sonohysterography (SIS)
  • General Ultrasound
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of organs, tissues, vascular structures, and blood flow.
  • Assist physicians during specialized procedures, including Saline Infusion Sonohysterography (SIS), when required.
  • Review images for accuracy, quality, and completeness prior to submission for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and promptly report any equipment concerns or service requirements.
  • Remain current with advancements in ultrasound technology, imaging techniques, and professional best practices.

Qualifications

  • Current certification and/or registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in good standing.
  • Demonstrated competency in performing OB/GYN, EFTS, SIS, General, Breast, Musculoskeletal (MSK), and Vascular ultrasound examinations.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or diagnostic imaging setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices.
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate image quality and diagnostic findings.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
