Full job description

We are currently looking for a resourceful, proactive, and driven IT Coordinator to join our team. If you pride yourself on quality work, thrive on solving complex puzzles, and want to grow within a stimulating and expanding environment, this job is for you!

In this role, you will be the backbone of our IT operations—ensuring our head office runs smoothly, our remote sites stay connected, and our upcoming ERP evolution is a success.

What You’ll Do

As our IT Coordinator, you will wear multiple hats, blending hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic project support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • User & Infrastructure Support (Tier 1 & 2): Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to users and IT infrastructure (computers, servers, virtualization, mobile devices, and printers) both on-site and remotely.
  • Remote Site Operations: Act as the primary technical anchor for our remote locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and operational uptime.
  • ERP & Special Projects: Assist in the planning, testing, and implementation of our ERP system, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants.
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP), Google Suite Admin Console, and email filter servers.
  • Lifecycle Management: Onboard and offboard employees by preparing all necessary hardware, software, and access permissions.
  • Network & Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and repair computer hardware, operating systems, web servers/CMS, and VOIP telephone systems.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise documentation on technical procedures and participate in IT security and compliance audits.
  • Inventory & Continuity: Manage the inventory of computer supplies and participate in IT succession and disaster recovery planning.

What You Bring

We are looking for a tech-savvy professional who is as good with people as they are with servers.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification (Network+ or Security+ is a plus).

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dedicated IT support or coordination role.
  • Proven experience handling Tier 1 & 2 helpdesk issues in an active corporate environment.
  • Familiarity or exposure to ERP system implementations (highly valued).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and basic networking (firewalls, switches, routers, WiFi).
  • Experience with Google Suite Admin, Microsoft 365, and web hosting/Content Management Systems (CMS).

Soft Skills & Travel:

  • A resourceful, self-starter mentality with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to assist remote users patiently and effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license and the flexibility for occasional travel within Ontario to support remote sites.

Why Join Us? Growth, Variety, and Impact. You won't just be resetting passwords here. You will have a direct hand in shaping our IT infrastructure, learning cutting-edge ERP systems, and working in a collaborative environment where your clean code and well-done work are truly celebrated.
