WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

K.P.C. Power Electrical Ltd. needs an experienced “TECHNICAL ASSISTANT” for our growing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support Technical Services by compiling and reviewing substation commissioning and maintenance reports and documents.

· Local Hydro Isolations and ESA arrangements.

· Procurement of various electrical equipment.

· Inventory of Power related apparatus/material.

· Ensure safe work procedures are followed at all times.

· Maintain client communications, safety, and work documentation.

· Ensure reporting requirements of federal, provincial, and local regulations are met.

· Conduct any general duties, specific projects, and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Technical Services Group in a timely and professional manner.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

· Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and adapt to new and rapidly changing situations.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.

· Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

· Completion of post-secondary school education such as Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology

· Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and AutoCAD required
