Full job description

Location: Lethbridge, AB with some work required on site in Fort Macleod, AB

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience.

Shop Requirements

- Creating panel shop drawings from a structural/architectural drawing provided by engineer

- Creating pxml files for mesh production and plotter input

- Calculating concrete volumes, square footage and panel weights

- Follow engineered specs for reinforcement plans

- Follow tolerances set by the production manager/project manager

- Making details easy to find(IE. Placing them on the right/applicable layouts)

- Creating CSV files for tracking

- Creating layout drawings(birds eye and elevation) with the applicable measurements

- Create erection plans for on-site coordination

Sales/estimating requirements

- Create pre-lim layouts to show clients(likely only Agricultural)

- Work with clients/sales to create a pre-lim layout to send to engineer for structural

The PROs:

- More control on the building design (reduce change orders)

- Speed up deliverables to customer, helping sign deals

- Provide more accurate PSDs and Layouts that are easy to follow(engineers tend to let this slide)

- More control on what goes into the panels(using typical materials)

- Quicker problem solving(IE. Missing measurements)

- Easier tracking for accounting and inventory

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
