Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Administrator to join our Dental Practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks within a busy dental practice, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with Dentrix, and experience in front desk management. The Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, supporting both clinical and administrative functions to enhance patient care and office efficiency.

Duties

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and scheduling appointments using Dentrix
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
  • Verify patient insurance information and update records accurately
  • Prepare and manage patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
  • Assist with billing, coding, and insurance claims processing
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and necessary materials
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence management
  • Ensure the office environment remains organized, clean, and welcoming for patients and staff

Experience

  • Prior experience as a dental receptionist is a must. Preferably 1-3 years
  • Proficiency with Dentrix is essential
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology
  • Demonstrated experience managing tasks in a fast-paced dental practice
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills
