Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our specialty dental care team. The position is instrumental in enhancing patient satisfaction and supporting the clinical team to deliver exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have surgical dental and sales experience. The Treatment Coordinator performs a vital role for the clinic, helping patients understand the benefits of recommended procedures, scheduling appointments, and ensuring an efficient overall treatment experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with periodontal and prosthodontic procedures, and proficiency with technology and electronic records.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between patients and the clincal team, explaining treatment options and financial requirements clearly and comfortably.
  • Entering chart notes, tracking treatment progress and scheduling appointments using ClearDent practice management software.
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with understanding their coverage.
  • Manage patient records accurately.
  • Seeking consultation or clearance from other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Addressing patient inquiries and appointment requests in a polite and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with the dental team to ensure timely delivery of treatments and follow-up care.
  • Maintain a welcoming and calm environment.
  • Assist with administrative duties including patient communication, data entry, record managment and generating reports.
  • Ensuring surgical supplies are available for scheduled procedures.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and and experience with surgical dental procedures.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English is essential.
  • Experience with dental office management and digital imaging software.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail in managing electronic records, time-sensitive tasks and multi-faceted scheduling.
