Full job description

We are looking for an experienced dental receptionist to join our team 4 days/week to start, with potential for 5 days as of end of August.

Job Overview
We are a family-orientated dental practice with long term staff, that enjoys working together and are seeking to add another experienced, dedicated & efficient Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player that can work well independently and is a keen self-starter that ensures each patient is treated with care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
  • Verify insurance information and process patient billing
  • Maintain electronic dental records accurately
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support the entire dental team
  • Must have some experience with send pre-authorizations

Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and phone systems
  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with Dental Terminology is advantageous
  • Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus

Fridays & Saturdays are required, please do not apply if you are not available these days. Pay range will be determined according to years of relevant experience. Please do not apply if you do not have any experience as a dental receptionist.
