Full job description

Location: Delta, BC
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
Position: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and organized Dental Receptionist to join our well-established dental clinic. Minimum 2 years experience required.

The ideal candidate is confident working in a fast-paced dental environment, provides exceptional patient care, and understands the importance of creating a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage a busy multi-line phone system and patient inquiries
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
  • Manage recalls, cancellations, and appointment changes
  • Process payments and assist with insurance claims and estimates
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, hygienists, and the dental team
  • Assist with treatment coordination and patient follow-up including pre-authorizations and estimates
  • Maintain an organized and efficient reception area
  • Support the dental team with day-to-day administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous dental reception experience required
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Experience with dental practice management software is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Professional, positive, and compassionate approach to patient care
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience with Dentrix, or similar dental software is required
