Full job description

Jonkman Equipment is an agricultural equipment distributor that has been part of the Abbotsford community for 30 years. Our vision is to remain the premier specialized agricultural distributor in BC, and to successfully train and develop our employees, providing them with a rewarding and fast-placed work environment. We are looking to add an experienced Warehouse Associate to our team.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Salary range: $18 to $26 per hour (depending on experience)

Position: Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product to/from vendors/customers using a company vehicle in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensure that the company vehicle is clean, kept in good condition and up to date with service requirements
  • Coordinate deliveries to/from the warehouse and communicate with customers regarding order status, ensuring seamless customer service.
  • Log incoming and outgoing trips helps to keep track of the successful delivery of products.
  • Assist with loading/ Unloading of product, stocking, cleaning and other general duties.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 7 or 5 License is required with a clean driver’s abstract preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures
