Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine cleaning, sanitation, and general custodial duties while ensuring all assigned areas are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, washrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces.
  • Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
  • Clean and restock washroom supplies.
  • Clean entrances, doors, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Perform other custodial and cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job location.
  • Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
