Full job description

Fort McMurray 468 Business Centre LP is seeking a self-motivated safety conscious individual who will be reasonable for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean offices, meeting chambers, and recreational facilities
  • Mop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum all carpeted areas
  • Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
  • Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, fixtures and mirrors
  • Replenish and required supplies
  • Keep outside area near exits and entrances clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
  • Steam clean floors, clean kitchen sinks and counters
  • Report maintenance issues and act of vandalism
  • Operate equipment such as buffers
  • Complete FLRA’s prior to commencing shift
  • Will be required to pick-up/drop-off-co-workers to/from site

Working Conditions:

  • 14 days on 14 days off at 11.5 hours per day
  • Required to stay in CAMP
  • Day Shift
  • Shuttle provided to CAMP
  • Must be comfortable driving on the highway, and in varying weather conditions. On site driving experience is an asset.
  • Physical ability to lift 20 pounds or more; prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting, and bending; operating medium weight cleaning equipment such as buffers, and moving desks and furniture
  • Must be able to work independently

Qualifications:

  • Previous custodial experience
  • CSTS-09 or OSSA or BSO or CSO
  • Valid Class 5 Driver License with clean drivers abstract
  • Successful Pre-accesses Drug and Alcohol Testing
  • Must be fully vaccinated
