Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Makeup Artist to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional makeup application services, enhance clients' natural beauty, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role involves working closely with clients to achieve their desired looks while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism. A strong background in beauty services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer service are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional makeup application tailored to clients’ preferences for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, or daily wear.
  • Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and nail care as needed.
  • Deliver personalized consultations to recommend suitable products and styles that meet client needs.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health regulations.
  • Engage with guests at the front desk, offering product demos and upselling beauty products and services to enhance client satisfaction and sales.
  • Ensure excellent guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally.
  • Assist with retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and promoting additional services or upgrades.
  • Support team members in maintaining the overall aesthetics of the salon or spa environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar beauty service role.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in beauty treatments.
  • Skills in makeup application, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and nail care are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly and promote products confidently.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment while providing personalized guest services.
  • Retail sales experience and upselling abilities are preferred but not required.
  • Flexibility to adapt to client needs and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
