Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Payment Platforms team to lead the development and evolution of Moneris' Payment Gateway and API platform. You will work across the business to ensure our gateway and APIs are secure, resilient, scalable, and deliver exceptional integration experiences for merchants, partners, and ISVs across Canada.
You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, technology delivery, compliance, and go-to-market execution, helping guide innovation, usability, and performance across the platform portfolio. We are looking for someone with experience in payment gateways or API-driven platforms, knowledge of the payment’s ecosystem, and the ability to partner effectively across Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
If you have experience building and scaling platform products and enjoy solving complex integration challenges, we'd love to connect.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager II, Product.
Posting Type: Replacement.
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
-
Lead Platform & Product Strategy: Define and manage a 3-to-18-month roadmap for the Payment Gateway and API platform, ensuring alignment with product and corporate objectives. Support positioning, commercialization planning, sales enablement, and post-launch performance measurement.
-
Own the Product Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for gateway and API capabilities, from ideation and validation through delivery, launch, enhancement, and retirement. Prioritize initiatives based on merchant, partner, and developer needs.
-
Improve Developer & Partner Integrations: Partner with Technology and Developer Portal teams to enhance API discoverability, documentation, and onboarding experiences. Drive improvements in integration efficiency and time-to-value for merchants, ISVs, and partners.
-
Collaborate Across the Business: Work closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Support teams to deliver customer-focused solutions, support product readiness, and address regulatory and card-brand requirements.
-
Lead Agile Product Delivery: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, support sprint planning, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-value outcomes while maintaining visibility into priorities, dependencies, and risks.
-
Define and Measure Success: Establish product objectives and key results (OKRs), track performance metrics related to adoption, usage, reliability, and integration effectiveness, and use insights to inform roadmap decisions.
-
Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed on market developments, competitive offerings, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to support innovation and maintain leadership in payment authorization solutions.
