Job Summary

Are you interested in building a career as a Land Agent but have not yet started post secondary education or gained experience in the industry?

We are looking to hire individuals as Developing Land Agents and Administrators.

This entry level position is designed for someone who is organized, dependable and interested in learning about Surface Rights in the Peace Country while gaining practical workplace experience.

What You Will Do

  • Provide administrative and file support to Land Agents and Land Administrators
  • Assist with document preparation, research and data entry
  • Learn company systems, procedures and industry requirements
  • Shadow and support experienced Land Agents
  • Communicate professionally with team members, clients and industry contacts
  • Take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependability and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • An interest in pursuing a long-term career as a Land Agent
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • An established connection and knowledge of the Peace Region is considered an asset
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle
  • Post Secondary Education is an asset

Previous Surface Rights experience is not required. Training and mentorship will be provided throughout the one-year contract.

What This Program Offers

This is more than an entry level position. It is a structured opportunity to begin building a permanent and rewarding career as a Land Agent.

You will receive hands on training, mentorship from experienced professionals, regular feedback and increasing responsibility as your skills develop.

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability and a continued interest in the profession will be offered financial and practical support toward the education, examinations and certification requirements needed to become a licensed Land Agent in Alberta.

The position also offers ongoing wage reviews and opportunities to advance through roles such as Junior Land Agent, Licensed Land Agent and Senior Land Agent.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience, receive professional mentorship and begin building a stable, long-term career.
