Full job description

LandView Drones is an Alberta-based agricultural drone company (sales, training, and research since 2015). We're hiring a Video Content Producer for an intensive three-month contract, late August to late November 2026, based at our Camrose shop with significant field work around Alberta.

This is a hands-on production role. We have plenty worth filming — a Drone Spraying Masterclass and a professional educational video series produced in collaboration with DJI — and your job is to capture it and turn it into excellent educational videos, primarily for YouTube and online courses.

What you'll do

  • Set up and operate cameras, audio, and lighting in both studio and field conditions
  • Film staff, drone operations, demonstrations, interviews, and B-roll
  • Edit polished videos in Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable), plus short clips for social
  • Organize and back-up footage, and keep gear ready to deploy on short notice

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated video production and editing ability on professional equipment
  • Solid audio, lighting, and visual/storytelling instincts
  • Strong organization and comfort working independently within a small team
  • Valid driver's licence; comfortable working outdoors and around farm equipment
  • Drone, agriculture, or social-content experience is an asset, not a requirement

You'll be behind the camera; our five full-time staff are the on-camera ag experts. You don't need to be a drone expert — we'll teach you that part.

In your application, please provide a link to examples of video content you have personally edited. This may be a personal website, Vimeo/YouTube playlist, Google Drive/OneDrive folder, or another online portfolio. Please make sure we can access the files without requesting permission.

For those samples, briefly describe what you were responsible for—for example: filming, editing, colour correction, audio, motion graphics, scripting, or the entire production.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • On-site parking

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Camrose, AB T4V 2N6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
