Take on a dynamic role where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering impactful roadway and linear infrastructure projects. As an Intermediate Contract Administrator, you’ll help ensure quality, compliance, and progress across construction sites while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to shape resilient communities.

Your Impact

  • Conduct site visits and attend site meetings to monitor project performance and ensure alignment with design intent
  • Oversee construction site activities, providing quality assurance and control for roadway and linear infrastructure projects
  • Take ownership of project progress tracking, preparing detailed and accurate site reports
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
  • Respond to contractor requests for information (RFIs) and facilitate timely contract clarifications
  • Issue and manage contract changes to maintain project scope, schedule, and quality
  • Support constructability and quality reviews of drawings and specifications prior to and during construction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and effective project outcomes

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 3+ years of experience focused on construction-phase project delivery
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering
  • Certified or eligible for registration with OACETT (RCCA) or registered with PEO as a P.Eng. (asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination and reporting
  • Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities in a construction environment
  • Solid understanding of OPS standards, drawings, and legislative requirements for roadway and linear infrastructure
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality assurance practices
  • Experience with Civil3D, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam; familiarity with City of Ottawa standards considered an asset

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 - 88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 - 83,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 - 80,000
