What you will do
- Develop and deliver clinical education programs, orientations, workshops, and training for frontline staff.
- Assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and provide coaching and competency support.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and quality teams to develop and improve training programs.
- Ensure education initiatives align with legislation, accreditation standards, organizational policies, and quality objectives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to support staff performance and client outcomes.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives through education and training.
- Coordinate external educational resources and subject matter experts as needed.
- Maintain training materials, equipment, and learning environments.
- Promote evidence-based practice, professional development, and leadership growth among team members.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development of staff and administrative team members.
- Maintain professional competencies and stay current with industry best practices.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements, infection prevention protocols, and privacy/confidentiality standards.
What you will need to be successful
- Registered Licensed Practical Nurse with the CLHA, in good standing.
- Preferred minimum of two (2) years of training experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, and the ability to learn new programs specific to the business.
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Ability to drive teamwork and staff engagement.
- Results-oriented with analytical decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated educator/training experience both in-person and virtually is required.
- The ability to teach students at different levels and learning styles and strives to ensure a positive outcome from their learning.
- Valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle for work related travel.
- Flexibility to travel for work if required.
