  • Modern labs and equipment for hands-on learning
  • Friendly, professional team that values collaboration
  • Strong administrative support so you focus on teaching

What You'll Do

  • Teach approximately 40 hours per week in the HCA program, blending classroom theory and hands-on lab skills
  • Deliver lessons using established curriculum in collaboration with the Program Coordinator
  • Support student learning by explaining concepts, providing constructive feedback, and offering guidance
  • Supervise students during clinical placements at local care facilities in the Kelowna area
  • Communicate with placement supervisors to monitor student performance and address concerns
  • Participate in occasional team meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvement

What We Need From You

  • Current unrestricted full registration as an RN, LPN, or RPN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Minimum 2 years full-time Canadian nursing experience (at least 2,800 hours)
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian healthcare and genuine passion for working with older adults and in community care settings
  • Proven ability to teach adult learners. e.g. team lead or supervising/mentoring experience (Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent experience is an asset)

Preferred

  • Strong organizational, leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: based on qualifications and experience
  • Full benefits: Extended health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Professional development: Ongoing instructor training and curriculum development opportunities
  • Work-life balance: Predictable schedule
  • Community: Collaborative team and mentorship from experienced educators
