NOW HIRING

Sales Representative — Renovations

Degagne Renovations — A Division of Degagne Pro Group | North Bay / Nipissing District, ON

Job Summary

The Sales Representative reports to the Manager, Sales and Marketing and is responsible for guiding homeowners through the renovation sales process — from initial consultation to project initiation. This role identifies client needs, develops renovation solutions, prepares proposals, and closes projects while delivering the Degagne standard of customer service.

Working closely with design partners, suppliers, and project management, the Sales Representative ensures project scope, timelines, and budgets align with the client's vision and company standards. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, knowledge of the renovation industry, and a consultative sales approach.

The role involves travelling throughout the Nipissing District to meet with homeowners, assess renovation opportunities, and represent Degagne Renovations with professionalism, transparency, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation & Needs Assessment — Conduct in-home consultations to evaluate renovation opportunities, assess existing homes, and understand homeowner goals, priorities, budget, and lifestyle.

2. Relationship Building & Trusted Advisory — Educate clients on renovation options, feasibility, budgets, and timelines; maintain regular communication to build trust and represent Degagne Renovations as a trusted advisor throughout the client journey.

3. Renovation Solution Development — Guide clients through design possibilities, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and investment, and develop customized renovation solutions that align with homeowner needs and budgets.

4. Proposal & Estimate Preparation — Prepare professional project proposals, estimates, scopes of work, and presentations that clearly communicate project value, quality, and investment.

5. Sales Process Management & Closing — Guide homeowners confidently through the purchasing decision, address concerns and objections, convert qualified leads into signed renovation agreements, and maintain an organized sales pipeline through consistent follow-up.

6. Team Collaboration & Project Handoff — Collaborate with internal and external teams, participate in project review meetings, and support a seamless transition of signed projects to the Project Management team while maintaining ongoing client communication.

7. Sales Technology & CRM Management — Maintain accurate customer records within the company CRM, and utilize estimating, design, and project management software to prepare proposals and manage opportunities.

8. Reporting & Documentation — Track sales activities, forecasts, and project status; prepare contracts, change orders, and project documentation; generate reports and maintain organized project files.
