  • Full-time, onsite / M-F / 40hrs per week
  • This position has been evaluated with an annual base salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 CAD. Offers will be determined based on the successful candidate’s assessed skills, experience and qualifications.

Role Responsibilities:


The key function of the Systems Technologist is to design, assemble, inspect, and test radio systems for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) manufacturing. In this role, it is essential to work in compliance with documented procedures and standards.


Specifically, the Systems Technologist will:


  • Using procedures as outlined in configuration documents, perform tasks associated with the design, assembly, test, and measurement of various radio repeater systems and system components.
  • Configure and operate test equipment to assess, analyse and diagnose the performance of assemblies and systems.
  • Perform inspections on third-party products.
  • Provide proficiency in soldering components into circuit boards while adhering to industry standards.
  • Maintain responsibility for the creation, modification and storage of all assigned system configuration documentation (such as module test sheets), plus any other information created that is directly related to the position (i.e., Federal Communication Commission, Industry Canada, frequency, serial number labels and records).
  • Assist with resolution of production related issues as they arise and recommend improvements for productivity.
  • Provide basic testing of networking devices.
  • Execute appropriate transactions in SAP.

Become part of our Team:


  • Electronics Engineering Technology diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides similar relevant expertise.
  • Three plus years of direct experience in a similar role or related field would be considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and be part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
  • Exceptional speed, accuracy, and attention to detail with the ability to maintain performance in a consistently fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow systematic processes and a good understanding of general safety procedures.
  • Basic RF knowledge and computer networking experience are an asset.
