Tip-It Waste Solutions is a locally owned and operated waste management company committed to providing reliable garbage collection, organics and waste disposal as well as septic and waste water services to our communities. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient and dependable operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of our waste collection services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, processing payments, maintaining customer accounts, and assisting with daily operational and scheduling activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist customers with service inquiries, billing questions, account updates, and service requests.
  • Process and post customer payments accurately.
  • Maintain customer records and account information.
  • Assist with account receivable activities.
  • Coordinate and schedule service requests, tote deliveries, exchanges, and special pickups.
  • Provide dispatch support by communicating with drivers throughout the day.
  • Monitor route changes and update customers regarding service delays or disruptions.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and general office administration.
  • Support management with various administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or office administration experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable learning new software and operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling payments and customer information.
  • Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or waste management is considered an asset but is not required.
