Qualifications

Experience:
You have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality role (barista or cashier experience preferred).

Attitude & Growth Mindset:
Positive, friendly attitude with a willingness to learn and improve. You enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering great service. At Bready, we believe attitude always beats aptitude, just like hard work always beats talent.

Customer Service Skills:
You genuinely enjoy interacting with guests and know how to create a welcoming experience from the moment someone walks through the door.

Adaptability:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can stay calm and focused during busy rushes.

Teamwork:
You work well with others and understand that great service happens when the entire team supports each other.

Organizational Skills:
You are able to multitask efficiently — handling orders, drinks, payments, and guest interactions while maintaining accuracy.

Food Safety Knowledge:
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Food Handler Certification is a plus.

Availability:
Open availability for full-time or part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience:
Provide warm, friendly service to every guest. Take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and ensure guests have a great experience.

Coffee & Beverage Preparation:
Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and other beverages according to Bready standards while maintaining consistency and quality.

Cash Handling:
Operate the POS system, process payments accurately, and manage orders efficiently during busy periods.

Team Support:
Work closely with both Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure smooth service and clear communication.

Cleanliness & Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee stations, counters, and dining areas.

Quality Standards:
Ensure every drink and order meets Bready’s quality and presentation standards.

Opening & Closing Duties:
Assist with daily setup, restocking, cleaning, and closing procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
