Role Description

This is a part-time role as a Cleaning Specialist at Valley Clean serving Saint John - Norton. Valley Clean is currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team. As a Cleaning Specialist, you will play a vital role in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and ensuring that our clients' spaces are maintained to the highest level of satisfaction. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning equipment is well maintained and readily available for use.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning tasks in residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other designated areas according to Valley Clean's cleaning standards.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and utilized.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and respond to any specific cleaning requests or feedback.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles are considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Ability to accept feedback and continuous training openly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
  • Reliable, personal transportation to and from job sites.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
