Full job description

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Assembler in the Environment Technology Industry in London, Ontario.
We are seeking an assembly associate to work at a world-class manufacturing facility located in London, ON working a steady day shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday). This facility produces UV water treatment systems for clients globally. The assembler position involves component mechanical and electrical assembly of the client systems along with picking, packaging and assembling orders for distribution. The ideal candidate brings experience in a production/manufacturing role and a warehouse/distribution role. This is a contract position with an initial contract period of 6 months.
What's in it for you:
  • $19.00 hourly
  • Steady Day Shift (7 am to 3:30 pm), Monday to Friday
  • Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
  • 6 month contract with opportunity for extension or permanent placement

Responsibilities:
  • Performing mechanical and electrical parts assembly
  • Picking, assembly and packing of sales orders for aftermarket products and services
  • Reads and interprets work instructions, labelling, material specifications and mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Inspecting components and finished products to quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and stocked work area
  • Following all safety procedures and practices with a Safety First Mindset
  • Adherence to Kanban material replenishment processes
  • Other jobs as assigned by Team or Production Lead

You bring:
  • One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to routinely lift 50lbs (20kg)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Commitment to attendance and productivity
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively
  • Works well in a team environment or independently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of hand tools
