Job Description

Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Auto to join our Maritimes team.

To meet our customer’s needs, your work week will be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm AST

Accountabilities:

  • Review insurance policy and coverages
  • Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
  • Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
  • Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is required
  • Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 44,454.00 - 67,890.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
