- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning activities.
- Analyze revenue, pricing, productivity, and other key business performance metrics.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and business stakeholders.
- Gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data to support strategic initiatives.
- Assist with benchmarking and external market analysis.
- Develop and maintain reporting templates, dashboards, and management reports.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for business improvement.
- Support reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the development of self-service reporting capabilities and enhanced data accessibility.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide meaningful business insights and decision support.
- Prepare presentations and analyses for senior leadership.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency and business performance.
Qualifications and pre-requisites: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA designation completed or in progress is considered an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business analytics, reporting, or a related function.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, VBA, or similar reporting and business intelligence tools is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of data and communicate meaningful insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Comfortable learning new systems, technologies, and reporting tools.
