We're a startup, so no two months look the same. This is a role for someone who owns, executes, and delivers without needing to be managed. We're not looking for someone to fill a seat.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing software for innovative products that will drive the adoption of electric vehicles worldwide.

What You'll Own:

  • You must be passionate in developing creative solutions for the EV industry.

  • Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies.
  • Familiar with industry standards of writing codes and recommended practices.
  • Comfortable working with changing priorities and developing solutions independently.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer science, engineering (or equivalent).
  • Over 8 years of embedded software development experience.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and resolve complex embedded hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and serial protocol analyzers is an asset.
  • Proficient in embedded system design.
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and Embedded RTOS.
  • Experience with mobile app development, using Flutter or similar for iOS and Android
  • Expertise in embedded software engineering using Arduino, ARM and Raspberry Pi.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols: MODBUS, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and TCP/IP
  • Programming language proficiency in C, C++, C#, PHP, or JavaScript (Node.js).
  • Database management system skills, particularly with SQL (MS-SQL, MYSQL).
  • Computer networking experience, encompassing TCP and UDP.
  • Experience in sensor interfacing with accelerometers, temperature sensors, and motion sensors.
  • Competence in web technologies, including HTML and CSS.
  • Development expertise with microcontrollers such as AVR, PIC, NXP, and STM32
  • Proven track record in product development, including research, idea generation, detailed planning, and prototype creation.
  • Highly adaptable to changing deadlines and project requirements.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • You must be a self starter and able to work within a collaborative team environment.
