Join our team at Moxy Montréal Centre-Ville, where Moxy team members take their work seriously but never take themselves too seriously. Server

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Director and Assistant, the Server knows the menu inside out, welcomes guests warmly, and delivers a memorable experience at every table.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide prompt, attentive service.

  • Take orders, make recommendations, and answer questions.

  • Serve food and beverages with expertise and personalized suggestions.

  • Master all menu details (ingredients, preparation, garnishes).

  • Enter transactions accurately in the POS system.

  • Clear tables, process payments, and restock supplies.

  • Contribute to space cleanliness and maintenance.

  • Stay vigilant about allergies and intolerances, communicating with the kitchen.

  • Follow hotel procedures and standards.

  • Perform any other related duties.

Working Conditions

  • Day, evening, and weekend shifts.

  • Unionized position.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in hotel management or DEP in restaurant service.

  • Minimum age 18.

  • Bilingual French/English (French priority; English essential for 50% English-speaking guests). Another language is an asset.

  • Availability for days, evenings, and weekends.

  • Strong knowledge of classic and current cuisine.

  • Expertise in wines, spirits, and beers.

  • Ability to respond quickly in emergencies.

  • Excellent sales skills.

  • Autonomy, organization, and teamwork.

  • Able to lift 11 kg and stand for long periods.
