SUPPORT STAFF: HOSTS, EXPEDITORS, BUSSERS – FULL TIME IN SUMMER AND FALL

Looking for support staff with full-time availability into the Fall Season

With its perfect view of the inner harbour, boom + batten’s elevated casual dining offers guests an approachable culinary experience. Influenced and inspired by our pacific northwest surroundings, our culinary team delivers an inventive menu using the best ingredients on the market. Our beverage program features cutting edge cocktails, local and craft partnerships, and an elevated wine list designed to showcase the fresh ingredients on our menu.

Featuring a team of dedicated and talented industry professionals, we continue to elevate Victoria’s dining scene. We are seeking experienced applicants who have a passion for providing quality hospitality.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • PROVIDING EXCELLENT GUEST EXPERIENCE THROUGH WARM WELCOMES, PROFESSIONALISM AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
  • HAVE A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF ALL MENUS, PRODUCTS AND BUSINESS FUNCTIONS IN ORDER TO ANSWER QUESTIONS EFFECTIVELY
  • TAKING FEEDBACK FROM GUESTS PROFESSIONALLY
  • WORK PROFESSIONALLY AND EFFECTIVELY WITH ALL BOH AND FOH TEAM MEMBERS
  • BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS OF CLEANLINESS, EFFICIENCY AND ORGANIZATION BY MANAGING HIGH VOLUME WAIT-LISTS AT THE DOOR, GUARANTEEING FOOD IS QUICKLY AND CORRECTLY DELIVERED TO TABLES, AND ENSURING THE DINING ROOM AND SERVICE AREAS ARE CLEAN, STOCKED AND VISUALLY APPEALING
  • COMPLETING RESTAURANT SIDE DUTIES

The Chosen Applicant Will:

  • EXPERIENCE IN A FULL-SERVICE RESTAURANT SETTING IS AN ASSET
  • A PASSION FOR PROVIDING GENUINE HOSPITALITY, ENSURING INFORMED AND INSPIRED SERVICE TO GUESTS AT ALL TIMES
  • FEEL EXCITEMENT ABOUT WORKING WITH PREMIUM PRODUCTS, CHEF CURATED DISHES, TRENDSETTING COCKTAILS, AND LIKE-MINDED HOSPITALITY INDIVIDUALS
  • HAVE A CURIOUS NATURE, ALWAYS LOOKING TO FURTHER THEIR PRODUCT AND SERVICE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS AND PROVIDE INFORMED AND INSPIRED SERVICE TO GUESTS AT ALL TIMES
  • HAVE UP TO DATE SERVING IT RIGHT IS AN ASSET
