Banquet Server (Casual)

We are looking for Banquet Servers to contribute to the success of the Event team. This position require someone who is customer service oriented, has a high level of attention to detail and enjoys working in fast paced, dynamic environments. Banquet Servers will enjoy working a variety of different events at one of the top Luxury Hotels in Canada including weddings, conferences, corporate meetings, private dining, long table dinners and more! Along with serving, successful candidates will be required to assist with set-up and take-down of event materials and décor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous serving experience an asset, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Strong serving skills and ability to create engaging and memorable guest experiences that will leave them planning their return visit with us.
  • Team player who proactively looks for ways to enhance the level of service and ways to support other team members
  • Proven warm and sincere verbal communication skills.
  • Effective communication capabilities demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Ability to respond to questions from guests offering appropriate options or resolutions.
  • Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holiday
  • Serving it Right Certifications

Physical Aspects of Position:

  • Continuous walking, bending and lifting up to 50lbs

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.31 per hour
