Following the success of our Windermere location, we are excited to open our newest location in St. Albert. Our team is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through outstanding food, drinks, and service in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Position Summary

Flame & Barrel St. Albert is seeking energetic, professional, and guest-focused Servers to join our opening team. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive service, menu recommendations, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
  • Process payments accurately using the restaurant POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
  • Follow all food safety, liquor service, and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
  • Valid ProServe certification is required or must be obtained before employment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using POS systems is considered an asset.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
