    • Comfortable driving cargo vans is a must, and comfortable with 1.5 ton truck is an asset.
    • Full-time, 8-hour shifts .
    • Start time as early as 4:00 AM .

    • Shifts are mostly Monday to Friday, daytime.

    • Vehicle required – Full sized van, 2021 or newer.
    • We are looking for a Owner Operator (Courier) with their own vehicle and based out of Richmond.
    • Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond and Poco/ Surrey.
    • Note this is an owner operator role and will require Class 13 Insurance and WCB Coverage.
    • Heavy clean up jobs on equipment, vehicles, and inside/outside the workplace Miscellaneous pickup and delivery by van.
    • Bag and store wet ice cubes.
    • Operate tractor-trailer, flatbed, dry van, reefer or straight truck equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transportation.
    • Maintain accurate electronic and paper logbooks, trip records, and cargo documentation.
    • ✅ Owner Operator with a truck capable of hauling up to 58,000 lbs cargo weight.
    • British Columbia (Delta, BC) or Alberta.
    • ✅ Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence*.

Job Opportunity

Seven Seas worldwide Delivery Services Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver for its office in Delta, BC. If you have a positive, energetic outlook, cheerful personality and have proven experience in dealing with the public and providing an excellent level of customer service, we would like to hear from you

Job Requirements

  • Must have past delivery experience in driving cargo van and 5-ton truck
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic housekeeping skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be customer friendly
  • Valid driver's license (commercial driver license will be an asset)
  • Forklift license is an asset

The successful candidate is responsible for but not limited to

  • Loading and unloading of trucks using pallet jack/Forklift
  • Palletizing, shrink wrapping, packing, weighing, order picking
  • Order collection/delivery using cargo van/trucks
  • Should be able to work Monday- Friday, and some Saturday depending upon the business needs
  • Should have a clean driving record and must be able to work legally in Canada

The job role will also include administrative duties to be completed prior to and after multi-drop deliveries and collections from and back to the warehouse

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Delta, BC V3M 6Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
