Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the cycle count program and ensure that transactions and activities affecting inventory are recorded properly by verification through physical inventories, daily/weekly/monthly reporting and audits.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through daily and weekly cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Manage replenishment activities by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring raw materials are available to support uninterrupted production.
  • Investigate, document, and report inventory discrepancies while ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management and cross-functional teams.
  • Process inventory transactions, stock transfers, replenishment requests, and inventory adjustments using SAP.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and other required shipping documents.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine the root cause, and reconcile inventories to system records in a timely manner.
  • Locate, count and verify WIP and other materials.
  • Audit Lot number tracking system and FEFO process, on the floor and in the system.
  • Operating a forklift and walk-behind pallet truck to load, ship, sort, move, locate, relocate, stack, restack and count materials.
  • Maintain accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and comply with all applicable safety rules and SOPs.
  • Set up, Maintain, and Manage bin locations.
  • Re-allocate bin locations for the existing products.
  • Working with QA and other departments on quantity and quality deviations
  • Investigate any Receiving Deviation
  • Manage expiration and obsolescence process.
  • Comply with all food safety regulations outlined by the Quality Department for all raw materials and finished goods.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area including the cooler.
  • Ensure that operations are conducted in a manner that promotes health and safety,
  • Comply with GMP, OSHA and MSDS Standards
  • Update stock location slots on excel, to ensure items are easily located by plant staff.
  • Check and Analyze WIP & Material Usage and investigate as appropriate.
  • Support and assist with investigations.
  • Lead efforts to make improvements in the process, analysis and reporting.
  • Be able to work in other shifts as and when needed, for coverage, support or project/task related etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of inventory control experience
  • Forklift license required
  • Previous experience using SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in a complex, changing environment
  • Strong attention detail and demonstrate high level of accuracy in tasks
  • Must be able to read, write, perform basic arithmetic and computer skills
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
