We’re seeking a motivated Insurance Advisor - Sales to drive new business growth and deliver exceptional client service in a fast-paced brokerage environment. You’ll manage a high volume of inbound calls and online leads, closing sales over the phone, while consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.

This role focuses on understanding client needs, recommending appropriate coverage with integrity, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. You’ll also identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, collaborate closely with insurance underwriters, and stay current on insurer products and portals through ongoing training.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. The role is open to candidates across Canada. Key Accountabilities:

1. Continuously drive performance to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

2. Respond to a high volume of online opportunities, incoming calls, and new leads on a daily basis.

3. Proactively follow up on leads, partial quotes, and pending opportunities to maximize conversion.

4. Close sales through telephone and online leads in a timely and professional manner.

5. Respond to client requests and inquiries promptly, providing a high level of customer service.

6. Analyze client needs, counsel, and recommend appropriate coverage with the highest level of integrity.

7. Ensure adherence to internal and external underwriting rules, regulations, and procedures.

8. Provide cross-sell and upsell recommendations to existing clientele.

9. Collect expiry dates on other lines of business from existing clients to support retention and growth.

10. Maintain an in-depth understanding of insurance providers’ underwriting rules, product features, and benefits.

11. Demonstrate proficiency in using various insurer company portals.

12. Respond to insurance company underwriters accurately and in a timely manner.

13. Actively participate in training initiatives to stay current on products, systems, and industry requirements.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • · Post-secondary education and / or equivalent on the job experience
  • · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance broker sales (home and Auto) with proven track records (including both inbound and outbound call center)
  • · RIBO licensed is required
  • · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • · Proficiency with computer applications – SalesForce and Compuquote
  • · High level of integrity and excellent work ethic
  • · Demonstrate effective sales skills through needs-based selling and asking for the sale
  • · High energy results oriented individual with proven track record in sales
  • · Ability to work in fast-paced and challenging environment
  • · Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands independently
  • · Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
