Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cafeteria Worker to join our food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, customer service, and food safety within a dynamic cafeteria setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. The Cafeteria Worker plays a vital role in delivering quality service to our customers while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist workers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
  • Restock supplies as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards

Skills

  • Food preparation skills with knowledge of proper food handling procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a food service environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience or restaurant background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods

Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 11pm and Friday 2:30pm to 8:30pm

Days Shift - 7am to 3:30pm
