Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Store Manager/Barista to oversee daily store operations while providing exceptional customer service for our client, Mashric located at 18 King Street East, Bolton, ON. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on barista duties, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficient store performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Must have Barista skills and experience in the industry
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items in accordance with company standards
  • Handle cash register transactions using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and food preparation techniques
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store environment, adhering to health regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
  • Provide training and support to new staff on food service, serving, and POS operations
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Uphold company policies related to food safety, food handling, and customer service

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in serving, food preparation, and cash handling
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Proven leadership abilities or experience managing a team is a plus
