Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Barista and bring your passion for coffee, food, and exceptional customer service to life! In this energetic role, you will craft delicious beverages, prepare fresh food items, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
  • Handle cash register operations using POS systems ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions
  • Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly, attentive service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
  • Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising service quality
  • Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, or other menu items as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems or similar cash register technology
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order processing
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience in serving, food preparation, or the food industry is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
