Full job description

Looking for a FP&A Senior Associate to help expand a fast-growing advisory practice that works mainly with emerging startup/technology clients across North America. Reporting to the Co-CEOs, the successful candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of sophisticated strategic and financial analyses including financial modelling, analytics, KPI metrics, and business insights.

What the role entails:

  • Building detailed operational and financial models
  • Performing financial and strategic analyses to support business insights, fundraising and long-term planning
  • Engaging with the client to be on top of business updates and ensure key business drivers are understood and reflected in all analyses
  • Updating and improving existing client financial models
  • Assisting with data analytics and dashboards
  • Collecting and analyzing industry research and trends
  • Preparing internal and external client presentations and proposals
  • Ad hoc projects for the benefit of our clients

What you bring:

  • 1 to 3 years experience in Valuations, Modelling, Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity or Venture Capital
  • Previous experience building three-statement financial models
  • Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent (CPA/CFA/CBV etc)
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong financial/analytical skills related to corporate finance
  • Outstanding analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Experience working in remote and autonomous environments

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of data tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, etc)
  • SQL or Python

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
