Junior CAD Technician – Marine Flooring and Canvas Design

Full-Time | Lefroy, ON

Do you love boats, design, 2D and 3D modeling? Join Canadian Yacht Tops, we're leaders in custom marine boat tops, canvas, enclosures, upholstery, and flooring since 1984. We turn digital designs into high quality custom products for pleasure craft owners. Now you can be part of the process!

What You’ll Do

  • Design 2D and 3D models - CAD drawings for marine flooring and canvas boat top projects
  • Develop patterns and layouts used on real boats
  • Review shop drawings for accuracy and specifications
  • Support design revisions, sketches, and proposals
  • Organize digital project files
  • Work directly with the production team and clients
  • Assist with job installation, customer service and other duties

What You Bring

  • College diploma in CAD, Drafting, or related field
  • Rhino or similar software experience is a bonus
  • Proliner experience is a bonus
  • Strong organization, detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
