As Stockperson II, you will support successful events by managing inventory, stocking event spaces, and converting venues between event setups. This hands-on role connects warehouse, kitchen, and front-of-house operations to ensure spaces are organized, well-stocked, and guest-ready. What will you do this year?
In your role as a Stockperson II, your primary accountabilities will include:
  • Assist with the conversion of event spaces by setting up and tearing down banquet rooms, premium spaces, hospitality areas, and other event venues.
  • Move, stage, and position banquet tables, chairs, refrigerators, bars, buffet equipment, and other large food and beverage service equipment.
  • Receive, unload, organize, and distribute food, beverages, linens, glassware, service ware, and event supplies to designated locations.
  • Manage inventory by ensuring proper stock handling, rotation, storage, and replenishment throughout events.
  • Deliver and replenish food, beverages, ice, glassware, and equipment during live events to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Count, track, and maintain inventory levels while logging stock movement and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
  • Collect, organize, and return equipment, service ware, and supplies following events, ensuring items are cleaned, stored, and ready for future use.
  • Operate warehouse and material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies, rolling racks, hand trucks, and other equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all WorkSafeBC regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What else?
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Prior supervisor experience is preferred.
  • Must have flexible availability and be willing to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts as operationally required.
  • Must have successful completion of Grade 12.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 or Class 7 BC Driver's Licence.
  • Candidates with a valid forklift certification and operating experience will be given priority consideration.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies weighing between 50–75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physically demanding work for the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, warehouse, logistics, or event operations is considered an asset.
  • Experience operating material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, rolling racks, and hand trucks is considered an asset.
  • A working knowledge of food handling, inventory control, and safe storage procedures is considered an asset.
  • Candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.
