Brewing & Production Team Member (Full Time)

Dominion City Brewing Co. is looking for a Brewing & Production Team Member to join our crew. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making great beer, cares about the little details, and wants to be part of a team that keeps the brewery humming.

This isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to help us make beer that people love, day in and day out, while learning, growing, and shaping the way our brewery runs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Making beer — all of it. From milling and wort production to fermentation, cellaring, dry-hopping, and brite beer handling.
  • Keeping things clean, safe, and efficient. The brewery should run like a well-oiled machine, and you’ll help make that happen.
  • Following SOPs and schedules, but also noticing the little things that make a batch stand out.
  • Tracking fermentation, gravities, temperatures, carbonation, and more — because good beer is measured and managed.
  • Working closely with the Brewery Manager to make sure production runs smoothly, problems get solved quickly, and quality is never compromised.
  • Operating forklifts and handling inventory — yes, it’s physical work, and yes, it matters.
  • Helping the team with packaging, kegging, and whatever else needs doing that day.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be elbow-deep in the beer every day, and you’ll care that it’s done right.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3+ years of brewing or production experience
  • A strong understanding of fermentation science and brewery operations
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes loud, physically demanding environment
  • A problem-solver who notices small details, communicates openly, and adapts to changing priorities
  • Team players who can work independently when needed, but who also know how to collaborate
  • Comfortable lifting 25kg, standing for long periods, and rolling with schedule changes
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and keeping our brewery running smoothly

Details & Compensation

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Expected hours: 36–44 hours/week
  • Hourly Rate: 21-23$ / hour plus tip-out
