Amazing staff perks: free soup and bread on shift, 50% off food while on shift, 25% off food for you and three friends while off shift, post work drink specials, 50% off clothing in the retail store, 25% off glassware and other merch. After three month probationary period all staff are eligible for a pay day growler of beer or 1 IB of coffee. They can also enroll into our company pension plan which the staff member can contribute up to 3% of their pay and the company will match. For full time permanent staff we also have our health and dental plan.

Restaurant and retail staff have a start time and are expected to be available for 8 hour shift which can run longer or shorter due to business levels. Operations (finance, events, marketing, management) have flexible hours but typically work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Brewery are on rotational shift work schedules that change every two weeks. Example of shifts 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm and 1pm-9pm. The company as a whole is very flexible in regards to having other part time jobs, sports schedules, school schedules and are flexible with time off requests.

Lake of the Woods Brewing Company follows legislated ruling. Currently under legislation you are allowed 3 unpaid sick days without providing a doctors note. We require employees to provide a doctors note after the 3 unpaid days so we know how long to anticipate your leave, so we can do an ROE so you can collect EI on sick leave and so we can start planning modified duties and return to work.

Raises are typically given on employees annual reviews but the company is known for giving raises before the annuals if employees are performing well.
