Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. Please only apply if you can work 6am shifts. We are only hiring people that are available at this hour on a regular basis

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Assist in the inventory management of food supplies and ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure it meets our standards.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
  • A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.
