Overview

Duties

  • Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Plate dishes according to presentation standards, maintaining quality and consistency
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen team about order priorities and special requests
  • Monitor food temperatures and presentation to uphold safety and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support efficient service
  • Maintain cleanliness of work stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Support guest service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
  • Strong communication skills to effectively relay orders and guest needs
  • Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
  • Kitchen or hospitality background including serving, food prep, or cashiering is advantageous
  • Reliable team player with excellent time management skills and a positive attitude
