Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced breakfast cook to prepare and serve high-quality morning meals in a clean, organized kitchen. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in consistent food quality and safe food handling. Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes, guest preferences, and established quality standards.
  • Complete daily food preparation and meal preparation, including portioning ingredients and setting up the kitchen for service.
  • Serve meals promptly and courteously while coordinating with front-of-house staff.
  • Maintain clean workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout each shift.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper storage, temperature control, and prevention of cross-contamination.
  • Monitor ingredient levels, rotate stock, and communicate supply needs to the appropriate team member.
  • Support an orderly kitchen during busy service periods and assist with related duties as needed.

Skills

  • Experience with cooking, food preparation, and meal preparation, particularly breakfast dishes.
  • Food service experience; restaurant experience and kitchen experience are preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and consistent food quality.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Interest in the food industry and a courteous approach to serving guests.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
