We currently have a position available for a Comp. Host / Attendant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our employees have the opportunity to shape our guests experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.
  • Offer predetermined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection’s origin, taste and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
  • Assist in set-up of linen, glass, silver and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets and food stations.
  • Help maintain orderly department as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Other task may be assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Minimum two years of related experience in similar establishment.
  • Must have a strong F&B knowledge.
  • Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks.
  • Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
  • Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Compensation

  • Expected Wage: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
