Job Summary

We are a family run Denny's location with an outstanding track record of long term employees. The ideal candidate will have restaurant cook experience and a flexible schedule. Salary is consummate with experience, night shift supplemental.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of cook/chef. This position involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling and kitchen operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable restaurant experience in a fast-paced setting. We are a local, family run Denny's location who appreciates long term employees.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
  • Assist in cooking and meal preparation to meet quality and presentation standards
  • Handle food safely, maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene practices at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless food service during busy hours
