Aramark is Seeking a Cook for the Food Service Department at École Rive-Nord

Position: Cook

Location: École Rive-Nord
400 Joseph Paquette Street, Bois-des-Filion, QC J6Z 4P7

Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (following the school calendar)

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Perform daily mise en place
• Participate in inventory counts
• Assist with meal service
• Operate the cash register when required
• Reconcile cash receipts and sales transactions
• Coordinate the work of the staff under their supervision (3 employees)
• Complete production, temperature, waste, and other operational records
• Comply with all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods
• Experience with the Expério cash register system is an asset
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (if required by the operation).
