ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Marketing Associate, you will play an integral role in developing and executing holistic marketing campaigns across the U.S. and Canada. From supporting new product launches through multi-channel campaigns to analyzing competitive performance and identifying opportunities for market share growth, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of brand marketing initiatives. You will also contribute to exciting innovation projects inspired by our China and Hong Kong product portfolio, helping shape the future roadmap of our brands

This role will initially require full-time attendance at our North York office, Monday through Friday. Following the probation period, the position will transition to a hybrid work model (combining in-office and remote work) at the discretion of the manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Support the Marketing Manager in the development, execution and analysis of VNA’s Marketing Strategy across the US and Canadian Markets, ensuring brand consistency while tailoring initiatives to local consumer needs.

· Take ownership of the tactical execution of assigned ATL and BTL marketing campaigns from planning through post-campaign evaluation.

· Serve as the day-to-day contact for agencies and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives (e.g. digital, social, in-store demos, promotions, experiential activations, sponsorships, influencer partnerships, and events).

· Collaborate with agencies and third-party vendors on media planning, social media management, creative asset development/adaptations, influencer management, and testing opportunities across emerging digital and social platforms.

· Support the Sales Team with the development of marketing materials, including but not limited to digital assets, demos, premiums, POSM and event materials.

· Assist in building and maintaining the annual marketing calendar, while tracking timelines and reporting on deliverables and campaign performance.

· In charge of stock management of marketing materials with occasional lifting and packing of materials to ship out to our global counterparts, agencies, external vendors.

· Manage inventory and distribution of marketing materials, including packing and shipping to global teams, agencies, and external vendors (please note: this involves occasional lifting of boxes weighing 5-10 lbs).

· Partner closely with the Sales Team on in-store demos and activations, supporting planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.

· Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (regulatory, legal, and production teams) to support compliant product label development.

· Drive and conduct occasional market and competitor audits within grocery retail channels across the GTA.

· Travel occasionally within Canada and the US for market visits, events, and business meetings as required.

WHO YOU ARE

· Digital & Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms, including TikTok, RED (Xiaohongshu), Instagram, and LinkedIn.

TRAVEL

This role may require up to 20-30% travel to support market visits, campaign execution, events, and business meetings. Travel may include overnight stays and occasional international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY

· 3+ years of relevant Marketing experience

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or Business Administration

· Valid G driver’s license

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CPG industry

· Experience with events, digital marketing, and e-commerce is an asset

· Proficiency in monitoring, tracking, and managing marketing budgets

· Excellent in MS Office, including knowledge of “VLOOKUP” and “Pivot table”

· Proficiency in reading and writing in English & Chinese (required)

Work Authorization

· Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
