Full job description

Live to Play Sports is Canada’s premier wholesaler of cycling parts and accessories, representing a curated portfolio of leading brands nationwide, while also operating internationally as Norco Bicycles.

The Outside Sales Representative partners closely with bike shops across their territory, supporting both distributed brands and Norco, while building strong relationships with existing dealers and developing new business opportunities. As the face of the company in the field, they play a key role in driving growth and strengthening our dealer network.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role involves extensive travel throughout the assigned region, with a focus on delivering sales results and achieving targets across all brand categories. ​​Role and Responsibilities​

  • Grow sales and brand representation within assigned territory to achieve sales targets
  • Manage all aspects of dealer business in terms of sales, sales training, merchandising, POP
  • Establish and maintain effective dealer relationships
  • Seek out and establish new sales opportunities
  • Forecast territory sales to support planning and activities
  • Coordinate and present product knowledge seminars on company products
  • Organize special events with dealers and with internal events team where required
  • Actively manage call schedule to ensure assigned territory is covered in a timely manner
  • Facilitate the credit process including credit limits
  • Respond to requests from sales, credit and merchandising
  • Follow up with warranty and service issues
  • Review pricing on program price sheets, and report any changes
  • Review sales by category for all key partners, and discuss with dealer
  • Follow-up with support of inside sales associate
  • Discuss territory strategy plans with inside sales associate where applicable
  • Reporting such as weekly sales plan, key territory information, preseason sales
  • Participate in sales training
  • Review sample account and sell off samples to maintain reasonable sample account amount
  • Utilize social media to connect with potential dealers

Qualifications

  • Sales territory management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast, close sales and achieve sales quotas
  • Outside sales / Cycling retail related experience
  • Post-Secondary education preferred with emphasis on Business
  • Able to travel extensively, up to 50%
  • CRM experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A solid understanding of cycling product
  • Ability to use sales reporting to identify opportunities
  • As needed, work varying shifts such as evenings, weekends
  • Experience with Microsoft suite
  • Valid driver’s license and passport

Range - $58,500-$71,500 CAD + Sales bonus based on achievement of established targets.
