Wesgroup is poised for substantial growth over the next several years and in preparation for this exciting and challenging phase, we are actively seeking a highly engaged, driven and experienced Property Administrator to join our team.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Property Management – Residential, the Property Administrator will be an integral part of the team, interacting with property managers, accounting, technicians and tenants. This role helps with administration for residential properties. You will manage a variety of property management tasks, as well as manage the Online Service Centre and Hotline.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Property Management – Residential, the Property Administrator will be an integral part of the team, interacting with property managers, accounting, technicians and tenants. This role helps with administration for residential properties. You will manage a variety of property management tasks, as well as manage the Online Service Centre and Hotline.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support a team of Property Managers with the administration of their portfolios
- Build and nurture strong tenant relationships
- Assist with monthly reporting, rent collections and accounts payable
- Assist with preparation of lease documentation
- Deal with tenant calls and issues
- Obtain quotes, reviewing contracts and coordination of trades
- Assist with coordination of tenant improvements and move in / move outs
- Prepare security deposit refund forms and cheque requisitions
- Assist with strata condo management
- Occasionally attending viewings and meeting tenants
- Updating records
- Prepare correspondence and notices
- Perform other administrative duties as required
- 2+ years of experience in a property management admin or support position
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills including the ability to multi-task with competing priorities
- Excellent understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced team environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
- Positive attitude and a desire to help others
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Yardi would be beneficial
- Annual Base Salary: The expected salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum. Actual offered salary will depend on individual experience, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
