Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Senior Manager, Global Supply Operations, you lead the team and the strategy that connect global planning, regional execution, and business priorities into reliable, scalable supply delivery. You build and develop a high-performing planning team, set the standard for how we operate, and influence decisions at the enterprise level. As the senior supply expert in the room, you partner with cross-functional leaders to drive alignment and own the transformation of our processes, systems, and planning capability as the business scales. You manage complex global supply networks and turn strategy into execution — raising the bar on what the function can deliver and growing the leaders who will carry it forward.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
If you were in the Senior Manager, Supply Operations role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of supply planners — setting clear goals, growing capability, and building bench strength
- Owning the evolution of global supply operations — driving transformation of processes, systems, and planning capability as the business scales
- Leading and owning global supply delivery into the regions
- Acting as the single point of contact between the Global Supply Plan and regional teams
- Leading the supply response into IBP, partnering with Global Inventory Planning to translate the global supply plan into regional impacts — mitigating risks and seizing opportunities
- Owning the supply plan inputs to the S&OE process, partnering with Regional Production teams to identify supply gaps, translate them to business impact, and drive mitigation across supply teams
- Setting buy strategies across T1/T2 with the sourcing organization (Finished Goods and Raw Material Supply teams) — LLT exceptions, one-time buys, MOQ reviews, buy windows, and material pre-positioning
- Overseeing the monthly “Need to Buy” process and seasonal calendars for buy dates and shipping schedules
- Owning capacity risk assessment and driving resolution with global and regional planning teams
- Building deep cross-site, cross-functional relationships with Global and Regional Merchandising and Demand Planning, Regional Production, and Distribution/Logistics to adjust plans as forecast, supply, or customer orders change
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Driving supply chain transformation and optimization initiatives that improve agility, visibility, and decision-making at scale
- Setting global standards for planning processes, KPIs, and operating cadence across regions
- Developing the next generation of planning talent and future leaders on the team
Are you our next Senior Manager, Supply Operations?
- You have 8-10+ years in supply planning, production planning, or a related supply chain role, including direct people-leadership experience
- You are an experienced people leader who sets a clear vision, aligns and develops your team, and builds commitment to shared goals
- You have led change and transformation at scale, improving agility, visibility, and decision-making across a supply organization
- You bring specialized supply chain operations expertise and provide strategic oversight across complex global networks
- You are highly strategic, with strong business acumen — spotting opportunities and risks and turning them into growth
- You have solid knowledge of T1/T2 production flow and management
- You communicate and present with confidence and credibility to stakeholders at every level, from planners to executives
- You have advanced knowledge of SAP and/or an equivalent ERP/planning system and order management processes
- You have advanced data analysis skills, with hands-on experience in o9, Excel, and Power BI
- You are proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions
- You bring continuous-improvement and/or supply chain certification, such as Six Sigma or APICS
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
Compensation:
Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
We’re committed to fair, equitable, and competitive pay, reviewed regularly to ensure internal alignment and market relevance. Transparency is part of how we follow through on our commitments and how we honour the value you bring to our team.
In addition to base pay, Arc’teryx supports people through benefits designed to sustain both work and life:
