Aftermarket Service Manager – CNC Equipment PM Program Build Description

Our client in the machine tool industry is looking for a Service Development Manager to add to their team in Etobicoke, ON. Reporting to the Vice President, you will design and build a preventive maintenance (PM) program and aftermarket service business as a distinct revenue-generating line of business from the ground up. Qualified candidates will have experience building or managing aftermarket service programs within industrial equipment, machine tools, or related capital equipment industries. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial service leader to own a high-impact business unit inside a profitable, family-owned industry leader with 65+ years of history and significant long-term growth potential.

Aftermarket Service Manager – CNC Equipment PM Program Build Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a multi-tier PM program and delivery methodology and standards
  • Develop structured upsell processes for identifying replacement parts and service opportunities
  • Partner with the Vice President on pricing models, cost analysis, and margin optimization
  • Recruit, train, and lead a dedicated PM technician team
  • Build training programs and operational procedures for PM service delivery
  • Establish scheduling, dispatch, CRM workflows, contract tracking, and renewal processes
  • Define, own, and manage operational KPIs
  • Collaborate with Vice President to drive PM contract growth within the installed customer base
  • Support geographic expansion of the PM program across Ontario, Quebec, and Eastern Canada
  • Drive continuous operational improvement and service scalability

Aftermarket Service Manager – CNC Equipment PM Program Build Qualifications

  • 7+ years building/managing industrial equipment aftermarket service programs required
  • 5+ years hiring, training, and managing field service or technical teams required
  • Experience developing new service offerings, creating SOP’s, and operational workflows required
  • Ability to effectively manage operational and financial KPI’s required
  • Proficiency with CRM and service management systems required

Pay: $150,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
