What we offer:

  • Full-time, permanent employment with a consistent schedule
  • Opportunity to increase hours and grow within the organization
  • Health Spending Account
  • Paid onboarding and training

  • Career-development courses and opportunities to build your skill set
  • Opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility
  • Company-sponsored team events and social activities

  • The stability of an established clinic that has been serving Barrie for 10+ years
  • The opportunity to be part of a healthcare organization that continues to grow

About the role

As a member of our administrative team, you will play an important role in both the patient experience and the day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients and providing excellent front-desk service
  • Answering phones, emails and patient inquiries
  • Scheduling and managing practitioner appointments
  • Processing payments and completing direct insurance billing
  • Supporting practitioners and fellow administrative team members
  • Maintaining accurate patient information and clinic documentation
  • Helping keep the front desk and clinic organized and running efficiently
  • Providing a professional, friendly and helpful experience from the moment a patient contacts the clinic
  • Assisting with other administrative responsibilities as the role develops

Who we’re looking for

Our ideal candidate is someone who is positive, reliable, professional and genuinely enjoys working with people.

You should be comfortable working in a busy healthcare environment, communicating with patients and practitioners, managing multiple priorities and being part of a collaborative team.

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of medical/rehabilitation or healthcare administrative experience
  • Experience with direct insurance billing
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with computers, scheduling systems and administrative technology
  • Dependable and able to work the required schedule
  • A team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic, physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy or rehabilitation environment is a strong asset.
